Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

We support safe and timely return to work following injury, working within workers compensation and injury management frameworks. Our approach focuses on restoring function, setting clear goals, and coordinating with employers, insurers, and other providers

What is a Concussion?
A concussion is a brain injury caused by acceleration or deceleration of the brain following a significant impact to the head or elsewhere on the body.
The impact causes dysfunction within brain cells and decreased blood flow, resulting in temporary deficits in brain function. Symptoms may include loss of consciousness, headache, pressure in the head, neck pain, nausea or vomiting, cognitive problems, dizziness, or balance problems, among others.

Meet Adam
Adam Smith is a South West physio with a background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. He completed degrees in Exercise and Sport Science (2010) and Physiotherapy (2014) at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle.
He works with Peel Thunder and WA Masters Hockey, with additional training in concussion management and Sports Physiotherapy (Level 3). Adam focuses on helping people recover well and get back to doing what they enjoy.
Outside of work, he’s a family man who enjoys swimming, surfing, and spending time at the beach.
Fun fact: Ads has his Private Pilot License.
Meet Hayley
Hayley Smith (Orsmond) completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle in 2013. She has spent most of her career working in the South West across a range of areas, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy, workplace injury management, orthopaedics, and more recently paediatrics and disability.
She continues to work closely with a local orthopaedic surgeon, providing post-operative reviews and ongoing rehabilitation support. Hayley has additional training in Pilates, dry needling, and functional fitness, and enjoys helping people better understand their bodies and return to the movement they enjoy.
Outside of work, she’s a mum to Max & Zoe, and loves staying active and getting creative.
Fun fact: Hayley loves dressmaking.
